BALTIMORE, MD – A 31-year-old man is recovering after walking into a local hospital early Monday morning with a gunshot wound, prompting an investigation by Eastern District detectives.

Around 2:05 a.m. on October 27, officers were dispatched to the hospital after being notified of a shooting victim who had arrived seeking treatment. Medical staff alerted police, who confirmed the man had been shot and was in stable condition.

According to a preliminary investigation, the shooting took place in the 200 block of East North Avenue. The exact circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear, and no arrests have been announced.
