Bronx, NY – A Bronx man was indicted Monday on attempted murder, assault, and multiple related charges after investigators linked him to a series of violent attacks involving six female victims across several neighborhoods.
Prosecutors said the assaults occurred in separate incidents spanning September through October.
The defendant was remanded following his arraignment.

According to investigators, the first attack occurred on October 15 at about 5 a.m. near West Tremont Avenue, where a 60-year-old woman was punched in the face before the suspect threw the contents of a bag at her.
Roughly 20 minutes later, near West 176th Street and University Avenue, a 45-year-old woman was punched, knocked to the ground and beaten repeatedly, including with a metal pipe that shattered bones in her hands as she tried to protect her face.
At 7:25 a.m., witnesses saw the suspect striking cars with a metal pipe near Louis Nine Boulevard before he allegedly hit a 15-year-old girl in the back of the head, causing a wound that required staples.
Additional victims identified in ongoing investigation
Investigators said another assault occurred at 10:35 a.m. outside Franklin Avenue, where a 54-year-old woman was struck in the face.
The defendant, identified as Jeremiah White of Randall Avenue, was arrested later that day and was already on supervised release for two prior cases included in the indictment.
Prosecutors also linked White to earlier incidents, including an October 7 assault near the Grand Concourse and East 149th Street in which a 33-year-old mother was punched in front of her children.
Prosecutors cite series of unprovoked attacks
Another case dates to September 12 aboard a southbound Number 2 train, where a 17-year-old was punched in the face around Southern Boulevard and East 174th Street.
White was arraigned November 10 on charges that include attempted murder, attempted assault, first-degree assault, multiple counts of second- and third-degree assault, weapons offenses, attempted robbery and criminal mischief.
He remains remanded and is scheduled to return to court on January 7.
