LITTLE SILVER, NJ – Fire crews were called to the area of Laurel Drive on Friday night after a dumpster caught fire, sending smoke into the neighborhood.
The Little Silver Fire Company reported that units responded to the scene and quickly brought the blaze under control before it could spread to nearby property. The fire was contained to the dumpster, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters remained on scene briefly to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and to investigate its cause. Officials have not released additional details regarding what may have sparked the blaze.
