Bronx teens robbed in daylight crime spree across two precincts
BRONX, N.Y. — Police are searching for three suspects connected to a series of robberies targeting teenagers in the Bronx on the same afternoon, according to the NYPD.
Investigators say the incidents occurred on February 2, 2026, within the 46th and 52nd Precincts, where multiple victims were approached and robbed by groups of unidentified individuals.
The first robbery happened around 3:10 p.m. outside 50 Burnside Avenue. Police said a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were approached by several suspects who simulated a weapon, pushed them to the ground and stole a jacket and wallet worth about $1,000. The group then fled east toward Jerome Avenue.
About an hour later, around 4:27 p.m., a 13-year-old girl was walking near East Kingsbridge Road and 192nd Street when several suspects approached her, simulated a weapon and forcibly removed a neck chain valued at about $100 before fleeing.
Less than 20 minutes later, police said the group struck again. At approximately 4:45 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was walking in front of 2293 Sedgwick Avenue when suspects approached him, displayed a knife and stole his $370 jacket before running south on Sedgwick Avenue.
No serious injuries were reported in the incidents.
Police released images of the suspects and are asking the public for help identifying them.
