Brooklyn, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an unprovoked assault aboard an MTA bus in Brooklyn.
According to investigators, the incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, after a 35-year-old woman boarded a B46 bus near the intersection of Utica Avenue and Avenue H within the confines of the 63rd Precinct.
Police said the victim sat next to an unidentified individual, who allegedly made an anti-White statement before punching her in the face.
Suspect fled on another bus
After the assault, the suspect exited the B46 bus and was last seen boarding a B6 bus, according to the NYPD.
Authorities did not release additional information about the victim’s injuries.

The NYPD has released images of the suspect and is asking anyone with information about the incident or the individual’s identity to come forward.

Police have not announced any arrests, and the individual shown in the released images is being sought as part of an active investigation.
