Repeat trespassing complaint leads to cumberland man's arrest — handcuff

Police say suspected drug paraphernalia was also found

CUMBERLAND, Md. — A Mount Savage man was arrested after officers responded to another trespassing complaint at a Cumberland property where they said he had previously been warned to stay away.

According to the Cumberland Police Department, officers responded Tuesday to the 100 block of North Mechanic Street for a report of trespassing.

Police said they recognized Patrick Fitzgerald Martin Jr., 30, from previous calls involving the property and arrested him.

During the arrest, officers said Martin was also found in possession of suspected controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

Martin was issued criminal citations charging him with trespassing on private property and possession of CDS paraphernalia before being released pending trial.

The charges are allegations, and Martin is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
