OCEAN CITY, Md. — Police are asking the public to help identify a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a theft reported late Saturday night on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
The theft happened around 11 p.m. Aug. 29 near 813 Atlantic Ave., according to a social media post from the Ocean City Police Department.
Investigators released photographs of a woman they are attempting to identify. Police described her as a white woman with brown hair who was last seen wearing glasses, a pink hoodie, blue shorts and black sandals. She was also carrying a black backpack.

- Police are asking anyone who recognizes the woman to contact investigators.
The Ocean City Police Department did not release details about what was allegedly stolen or the circumstances surrounding the theft.
