Utica Police Investigating Hail of Gunfire At Milgate Street Home

UTICA, NY – On Saturday night, at around 7:30 pm, police say at least 21 shots were fired at a home and vehicle on the 500 block of Milgate Street. Police responded and learned there were no victims but found shell casings and bullet holes in the home and a vehicle parked outside the home.

“Once on the scene, the home and a parked motor vehicle located at 510 Milgate Street were struck multiple times by gunfire,” the Utica Police Department said. “Twenty-one spent shell casings from two different caliber firearms while found in the roadway outside the home.”

At this time, police believe nobody was injured by the gunfire.

The suspect vehicle was described as a Toyota Rav 4 SUV, dark in color. The vehicle was occupied by four males. One of the shooters appeared to be wearing all blue clothing.
