Evesham Township Police Adding New K-9 To Police Pack

EVESHAM, NJ – The Evesham Police Department is bringing a new dog on board as a member of their police K-9 unit.

“We are excited to announce that our K9 Unit will be adding another member. Officer Giamello, who will be the new K9’s handler, and Sergeant Bourdon are heading to Florida today,” police said today. “Stay tuned for updates on their journey as our new K9 is selected and makes his way back to Evesham to serve our Community. Officer Giamello and his K9 partner will become certified in patrol work and narcotics. We would like to thank our donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, who covered the cost of purchasing this new K9.”

The department said it still needs funding to equip the new furry member of the force and is accepting donations.

We like the name Kevlar.
