WASHINGTON, D.C. – A brutal attack in Southeast D.C. left one man dead and a woman injured Sunday evening.
Officers from the D.C. Metro Police Department arrived at the 200 Block of 14th Street just after 7:30 pm to investigate an assault report. At the location, police found 36-year-old Orlando Galloway suffering from multiple gunshot and stab wounds. A woman was also found with multiple stab wounds. Galloway was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The identity and condition of the female victim remain unknown at this time.
39-year-old Julius Worthy of Southeast, D.C., was arrested Monday and charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed and Assault with Intent to Kill.
