NEW YORK, NY – An unidentified man is the focus of a search in Queens after reportedly groping a young girl aboard an MTA bus.
The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a sexual abuse incident that occurred on April 5, on a Q77 MTA Bus near Linden Boulevard and Francis Lewis Boulevard.
The suspect approached an 11-year-old female victim from behind and rubbed her hands, thighs, and buttocks.
The victim managed to escape the suspect by exiting the bus and did not sustain any injuries. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately in his early 50s, last seen wearing a black mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, tan work boots, blue jeans, and a light blue t-shirt.
