Argument Turns Violent As One Shot In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two suspects have been apprehended by detectives of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department for a shooting incident that occurred on Friday morning at the 1300 block of 6th Street in Northwest, D.C.

A disagreement between the victim and the suspects erupted into violence at the listed location just before 8 am, with one of the suspects using a handgun to shoot the victim. The suspects fled the scene, but were pursued and arrested by a Fifth District Sergeant and a Metro Transit Officer who heard the gunshots. Two firearms were recovered from the suspects, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where they are expected to make a full recovery.

32-year-old Eric Cisneros, of Maryland was arrested on Friday and charged with the shooting and other gun charges. 32-year-old Tyland Rollins of Maryland was also arrested and charges with numerous offences.
