WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are asking for assistance in locating suspects in reference to a shooting that happened on Thursday in Northeast, D.C.
Shortly after 6:30 pm, the victim was seated in a vehicle at the 600 Block of Edgewood Street when the suspects approached. One brandished a handgun and fired at the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim was later admitted to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening.
