ROSELLE, NJ – Keisha Morrison, 45, and her 9-year-old daughter Kelsey were found dead in their home on the 200 block of West 7th Avenue, on Wednesday.
Authorities were alerted to the scene after a concerned neighbor called the police, having noticed that the front door was left open.
Autopsies conducted by the Union County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that both victims had died from blunt force trauma, and their deaths were ruled as homicides.
Police later revealed an axe as the weapon used.
The following day,the Maryland State Police made an announcement that troopers had carried out a “high-risk felony traffic stop” on Everoy Morrison.
They claimed that Morrison was operating a silver 7-series BMW that had been reported as stolen. Apparently, the car was taken from Keisha Morrison’s residence in Roselle.
