NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in identifying three individuals wanted in connection to an assault within the 40th Precinct on Friday.

At approximately 9:24 pm, a verbal dispute occurred between a 32-year-old female, a 48-year-old male, and three unidentified individuals (two females and a male) in front of 760 East 149 Street. The dispute escalated into a physical altercation during which the unknown male displayed a knife and stabbed the female victim twice in the back and the male victim in the torso and chest area.

Following the incident, the suspects fled the location on foot, heading eastbound on East 149 Street and then southbound on Wales Avenue. The victims were transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln; the female victim is in stable condition, while the male victim is in critical condition.

One of the sought individuals is a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, red shorts, and multicolored sneakers. The public is requested to provide any information they may have regarding this incident.
