Woman attacked inside Brooklyn subway station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to locate an individual connected to an assault that took place on Sunday, at around 11:50 pm. The assault occurred on a southbound “A” train platform inside the Clinton Street and Washington Avenue Subway Station.

According to the police, a 27-year-old female was approached by an unidentified male who struck her in the face before fleeing the station.

The victim refused medical attention despite suffering swelling and bruising to her face. The assailant, a male between the ages of 18 and 25, is approximately 5’8″ tall and 150lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and dark pants.
