Bronx, NY – Lacon Brown, a 48-year-old male from 1771 Monroe Avenue, was arrested and charged on Monday by officers of the 49th Precinct for his involvement in a recent Bronx homicide.
Charges against Brown include murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon.
The victim has been identified as Cindy Maxwell, a 45-year-old female who resided at 660 Arnow Avenue.
On Saturday, police had responded to a wellness check at Maxwell’s residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered Maxwell with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Emergency Medical Services pronounced her deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
