Police Investigating Multiple Robberies Minutes Apart

NEW YORK, NY – Police are probing a series of three robberies that took place in a roughly 10-minute timeframe on Friday within the 107 Precinct.

The first robbery occurred at 10:20 pm at Double J Deli on 168-02 Union Turnpike. Three unidentified men entered the store. One placed an object against the back of a 60-year-old employee and demanded cash, while two others removed $1,000 from the register.

A fourth individual acted as a lookout.

Six minutes later a second robbery was reported at Express Deli, located at 79-02 Parsons Boulevard. Three unidentified men came in and one simulated a firearm at a 27-year-old employee.

The other two took around $800 from the register. A fourth person stayed outside as a lookout.

Three minutes later, a nearby gas station was robbed. The robbery took place at a Gulf gas station at 141-50 Union Turnpike. One of the three unidentified men simulated a firearm and demanded money from a 40-year-old employee.

They took approximately $3,000 from the register. A fourth individual acted as a lookout.

No injuries were reported.
