Suspect Arrested for Deadly Stabbing of 77-Year-Old Man

COLUMBUS, OH – Authorities have arrested Michael Brooks II in connection with the fatal stabbing of 77-year-old Emily Foster in the University District on September 9.

Columbus Police discovered Foster with a stab wound on the 2000 block of Iuka Ave; she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Brooks, 28, is currently hospitalized due to injuries from an unrelated incident. An arrest warrant for murder will be issued upon his release.

Further details on the case will be disclosed on Friday, September 15.
