Clarkstown Police Join Local Schools for Trunk or Treat Events

by Charlie Dwyer

CLARKSTOWN, NY — Clarkstown Police Department officers participated in multiple Trunk or Treat events across the town last night, distributing candy to children and engaging with the community.

The initiative was part of a collaboration between the police department, local schools, and Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs). Officers were present at several locations where the events were organized.

Chief Wanamaker expressed the department’s commitment to community involvement, emphasizing the positive relationship between local law enforcement and schools.

The event comes as part of ongoing efforts by the Clarkstown Police Department to strengthen ties with the community. In collaboration with school administrations and PTAs, the police aim to foster an environment of safety and openness, particularly with younger residents.
