Fatal Vehicle Crash Claims Life in Newberry Township

NEWBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA – A vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday, at approximately 7:51 PM, in the 2800 block of Old Trail Road.

Newberry Township Police Department, responding to the scene, found a 2005 silver Toyota Camry crashed into an occupied house.

The vehicle, driven northbound by Michael Geesey of Manchester, reportedly lost control, crossed into the opposing lane, and collided with the house.  Geesey was pronounced deceased at the scene by the York County Coroners Office.

The Newberry Township Police Department is now seeking witnesses to the accident and requests anyone with information to contact them at (717)-938-2608.
