Glen Burnie Man Forced to Withdraw Money from Bank at Gunpoint

GLEN BURNIE, MD – An armed robbery occurred early Tuesday morning in Glen Burnie, involving a 45-year-old male victim, as reported by the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

At approximately 5:27 AM on December 26, officers were informed of the incident, which took place at the intersection of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and I-695. The victim, stopped at a red light, was approached by a male suspect dressed in dark clothing. The suspect, brandishing a handgun, entered the victim’s vehicle and directed him to drive to a nearby bank.

Upon arrival at the bank, the suspect compelled the victim to withdraw money and hand it over. Following the transaction, the suspect was dropped off and subsequently fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a Black male wearing dark clothing.
