WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Ziya Jennings, who was last seen in the 3000 block of Rodman Street in Northwest, D.C., at approximately 11:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Ziya Jennings is described as a black female, approximately 5’3” tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with distinctive red braided hair and brown eyes. Her last known outfit included a black puffy coat, blue jeans, and blue Jordan shoes.

The situation has raised considerable concern among local authorities and the community, given the vulnerable age and the circumstances of her disappearance. The Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division is leading the search and investigation efforts.
