NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating an incident on a westbound BX11 bus near West 181 Street and Audubon Avenue.
A 15-year-old girl reported being assaulted by an unidentified man around 3:25 PM on Wednesday. The assailant allegedly touched and rubbed the victim’s thigh and private area without her consent.
The victim disembarked the bus following the incident, while the suspect remained onboard.
Authorities are searching for a suspect described as a male, aged between 20 and 25 years, standing between 6’2″ and 6’3″ tall, with a medium complexion, brown eyes, and a mustache. He was last observed wearing a gray coat with a fur-lined hood, a gray sweatshirt, and carrying a black book bag. The NYPD’s Special Victims Division is handling the investigation. No injuries were reported from the incident.
