TOMS RIVER, NJ — A clash involving around 15 juveniles that spilled into the streets of Freedom Village prompted a swift response from local police. The incident, a continuation of an earlier altercation at Toms River High School North, ended quickly as participants dispersed upon the officers’ arrival.

Investigations revealed minor injuries among the youths, who, along with their families, opted against medical treatment. The disturbance also involved a stolen cellphone, which was later returned by the thief’s father to its rightful owner.

Concluding that no further police action was warranted, authorities filed no charges, deeming no additional intervention necessary.

This event occurred on March 19; however, due to extreme delays in Toms River Township releasing public information, the report was released this week.
