NYC Subway Rider Stabbed on the E Train in Midtown

MANHATTAN, NY – A 34-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed on a northbound “E” train near the 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue subway station on April 7, at approximately 4:45 AM.

After a verbal altercation with three unidentified men, the dispute escalated into a physical attack where one of the assailants stabbed the victim. The attackers subsequently fled the scene.

The first suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, last seen in a black hooded jacket, black pants, and black sneakers. The other two suspects are also described as male. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospital/Bellevue in stable condition.
