Manhunt for suspect who sexually assaulted woman aboard Brooklyn train

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of sexually abusing a woman aboard a northbound L train in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn, NY – The NYPD is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident that occurred Tuesday morning aboard a northbound L train near the Graham Avenue subway station in Williamsburg. Authorities said a 23-year-old woman was targeted while riding the train during the morning commute.

According to investigators, the victim was riding the train in the vicinity of the Graham Avenue station when an unidentified individual approached her from behind. Police said the suspect then pressed his groin against the victim’s buttocks over her clothing.

The woman remained aboard the train following the incident while the suspect exited and fled on foot to an unknown location.

Incident occurred during morning commute

The alleged sexual abuse took place within the confines of the 94th Precinct and Transit District 33. Authorities have not released a description of the suspect, and no arrests have been announced.

Detectives are continuing to review evidence and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
