BROOKLYN, NY—The New York Lottery announced that a lucky TAKE 5 lottery ticket worth $19,679 was sold in Brooklyn, marking a fortunate win for an as-yet-unknown individual.

The winning ticket for the April 8 midday drawing was purchased at A & E Convenience Corp, located at 3090 Ave U in Brooklyn. This particular drawing is part of the TAKE 5 game, where numbers are selected from a pool of one to 39. The lottery conducts these drawings twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., offering multiple opportunities for participants to win.

As with other lottery draw games, winners of the TAKE 5 lottery game have up to one year from the drawing’s date to claim their prize, providing ample time for the lucky ticket holder to come forward.
