NYPD Investigating Anti-White Hate Crime

NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is actively investigating an assault that occurred on Friday, April 5, 2024, in the Bronx. At approximately 1:18 PM, a 24-year-old male was attacked while walking at the intersection of 156 Street and Grand Concourse. An unknown individual approached the victim, punched him in the face, and made anti-white remarks before fleeing the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a heavy build and medium complexion, believed to be around 40 years old. He was last seen wearing an orange jacket, black sweatpants, a blue and grey shirt, and black sneakers.

Emergency services responded to the scene, where the victim was treated for facial pain and subsequently released. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
