WASHINGTON, DC — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred yesterday morning in Northeast D.C.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at 11:36 AM, following a shooting call at the intersection of 30th Street and Bladensburg Road. Responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg at the scene. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Police are actively searching for a white sedan with tinted windows believed to be connected to the incident. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the shooting or the suspect vehicle to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
