Teens Arrested in Shooting that Injured Female D.C. Student

Washington, D.C. – Authorities in D.C. have announced the arrest of two individuals following a shooting incident in Northwest. On Friday, May 3rd, at around 9:55 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of N Street after reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival at Dunbar High School, they found a juvenile female victim with a graze wound. The victim received treatment at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

After the investigation, 18-year-old Azhari Donell Graves and a 17-year-old juvenile male, both residents of Northeast, D.C., were apprehended and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Pistol without a License, and Endangerment with a Firearm.
