MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player from Allegheny County has won an online prize worth $1,399,853.65 while playing the Merry & Bright EZ eInstant game, lottery officials announced Friday.

Merry & Bright, an interactive online game, features a chance to trigger bonus rounds and contributes to the Minor and Mega EZ Jackpots. The Mega Jackpot for the game starts at $50,000, but the Allegheny County winner’s prize reached nearly $1.4 million.

Pennsylvania Lottery online games can be played on computers, tablets, and mobile devices. The platform also offers ticket purchases for Powerball®, Mega Millions®, and other draw games through palottery.com or the Lottery’s Official App.

To participate in online games, players must be 18 or older and create an account with the PA Lottery. Account holders can add funds via debit card, credit card, or linked bank account.

This jackpot adds to the growing popularity of PA Lottery’s digital offerings, which provide opportunities for players across the state to win substantial prizes.
