BALTIMORE, MD — A 19-year-old male was critically injured in a shooting late Sunday night in the 3700 block of Edmondson Avenue, prompting an investigation by Southwest District detectives.
Officers responded to the scene around 9:58 p.m. and found the unresponsive victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to an area hospital for treatment.
Given the severity of the victim’s condition, homicide detectives have joined the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
