BRONX, N.Y. — A lucky lottery player in the Bronx is holding a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket after a recent drawing delivered a solid five-figure prize.

The ticket was sold at Speedway on East Tremont Avenue for the March 18 Powerball drawing.

The prize was awarded for matching four of the five white balls plus the Powerball, securing the game’s third-tier payout.

Powerball drawings are held three times a week — Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m.
