SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — A New York Lottery player is holding a top-prize winning ticket worth $18,636.50 after it was sold in Brooklyn for the July 4 midday TAKE 5 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Times Wine, located at 1577 Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn.

The ticket matched all five numbers drawn to claim the game’s top prize.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

New York Lottery draw game prizes may be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
