WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for multiple suspects and a vehicle captured on surveillance footage following a triple shooting in Southeast DC last week that sent three people to the hospital.
The incident unfolded around 6:11 p.m. on Friday, March 28, when Seventh District officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 3200 block of 23rd Street, Southeast. On arrival, they found two adult men and one adult woman suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were conscious and breathing when transported by DC Fire and EMS to area hospitals.
Investigators say one suspect and a vehicle involved in the shooting were caught on surveillance cameras. Still images from the footage have been released as police work to track down those responsible.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and no arrests have been made. Authorities are calling on the public to assist in identifying the individuals or the vehicle involved.
