Deadly stabbing in the Bronx leaves one dead Friday night

BRONX, N.Y. – A 34-year-old man was killed Friday evening after being stabbed multiple times outside a building on Bryant Avenue, authorities said.

Officers from the 42nd Precinct responded around 6:35 p.m. to reports of an assault in front of 1500 Bryant Avenue. When they arrived, they found the man suffering from multiple stab wounds across his body.

Emergency medical personnel took the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition but later pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim has not been released, pending notification of family members. No arrests have been made, and detectives are continuing to investigate the fatal stabbing.
