NORTHEAST D.C. — Two individuals sustained injuries in a shooting incident Tuesday evening in Northeast D.C.
Responding to a call shortly after 7 p.m. on Rhode Island Avenue, law enforcement officials found one man with a gunshot wound. The individual was alert and received medical attention at the scene before being transported to a hospital.
A second injured man was located by the authorities as they examined the area; he, too was alert and subsequently hospitalized. The names of the victinms remain undisclosed.
