BRONX, NY – Police rushed to 512 East 138th Street on Thursday following a 911 call reporting two people shot. Upon arrival, authorities found a 34-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the arm and a 71-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her back.
EMS transported both victims to NYC Health and Hospital/Lincoln. The younger woman is in stable condition, while the older woman was pronounced dead. The investigation is still ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld until family members are notified.
