Early Morning Shooting on Nostrand Avenue; Suspect at Large

BROOKLYN, NY – A 50-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in an early morning incident on Nostrand Avenue this Sunday.

According to police reports, the shooting occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m. in front of 1609 Nostrand Avenue. The victim was swiftly transported to NYC Health+Hospitals/Kings County and is currently in stable condition.

The shooter, who remains unidentified, fled the scene on foot heading east on Tilden Avenue. Authorities are actively searching for the suspect and are asking for any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
