South Brunswick, NJ – Emergency crews responded to a Dunkin’ Donuts in South Brunswick Saturday morning after a vehicle crashed into the building, pinning an employee inside.
The Monmouth Junction Fire Department said the incident was reported at approximately 11:20 a.m. at the Dunkin’ Donuts in the K&M Plaza on Georges Road.
Employee freed before firefighters arrived
Fire Chief 200 arrived on scene and confirmed that a vehicle had struck the building and that an employee who had been pinned inside had already been freed by fellow employees before emergency responders arrived.
Firefighters from Engine 204 secured electrical power to the building as needed and disconnected the vehicle’s battery to eliminate potential hazards.
Crews remained at the scene until the damaged vehicle was safely removed.

Authorities have not released the condition of the employee or the cause of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
