WASHINGTON, D.C. — A string of seven robberies and attempted robberies unfolded across Northeast and Southeast D.C. early Monday morning, with multiple victims targeted in less than two hours by armed suspects who remain at large.

The incidents began at 6:01 a.m. in the 600 block of 10th Street, Northeast, where three armed suspects robbed a victim and fled in a vehicle. Over the next 90 minutes, the suspects committed additional robberies and attempted robberies, including assaults and gunpoint thefts at locations such as 3rd Street and K Street, East Capitol Street, and Constitution Avenue.

In one case, on Burke Street, Southeast, a victim was robbed at gunpoint, while another victim on I Street, Northeast, was assaulted before having their belongings stolen.
