Hackettstown Police Seize Illegal Drugs and Currency in Raid

**Hackettstown, NJ** – After conducting a months-long investigation, the Hackettstown Police Department, in collaboration with several other law enforcement agencies, executed search warrants on Bud Bus Inc. at two locations in New Jersey. The raid yielded around $1,900 in cash, suspected raw marijuana, and cannabinoid infused products. Authorities also seized a van and trailer as part of the operation.

William F. Schlette, from West Nyack, New York, was charged with multiple offenses following the seizure. Among the charges are possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, money laundering, misconduct by a corporate official, and deceptive business practices. Potential sentences for these offenses range from six months to five years in various corrections facilities.

While the accused faces serious allegations, it’s essential to highlight that these are only accusations at this point. The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office expressed gratitude to the agencies involved in the operation, comprising the Hackettstown Police Department, the New Jersey State Police, and the New Jersey Division of Taxation.
