Harford County Deputies Deliver Supplies to Hurricane-Stricken North Carolina

October 9, 2024

Bel Air, MD – In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and surrounding areas, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office organized a voluntary effort to support affected communities. Though initially assembled for potential deployment, the law enforcement team was not ultimately needed for active duty.

Eager to provide assistance, the group of deputies decided to take action independently. Led by Deputy First Class Matthew Elliot, Deputy First Class Tyler Dinan, Lieutenant Nickolas Petrozzino, and Captain Scott Walter, the team collected donations and prepared care packages for storm victims.

The gesture highlights the deputies’ compassion and willingness to help those in need during challenging times. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to everyone involved in organizing and executing the relief effort.
