Manalapan Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Incident

MANALAPAN, NJ – The Manalapan Police Department is conducting an active investigation into a hit-and-run accident that took place near the intersection of Route 9 and Ryan Road on Sunday at approximately 10:15 p.m.

According to the police report, the incident involved an individual riding an electronic bicycle on the shoulder of the road. The cyclist was struck by a dark-colored SUV, which then left the scene without stopping. Authorities noted that the SUV continued traveling eastbound on Ryan Road following the collision.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking assistance from the public in gathering additional information about the incident. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has pertinent details is encouraged to come forward and assist the authorities.
