Police release images of two suspects caught on surveillance
SILVER SPRING, Md. — Montgomery County detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying two men accused of breaking into a Silver Spring home, stealing a vehicle and using stolen credit cards during a crime spree.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, the burglary occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on June 15 at a home in the 100 block of Lynnmoor Drive.
Investigators said the two suspects entered the residence and stole a wallet, keys and a silver Subaru Forester.
Police allege the suspects later used the stolen credit cards at nearby businesses.
Detectives released surveillance images of the two suspects, who were captured on neighborhood security cameras.
One suspect is described as a Black male with a beard, wearing a black beanie, a dark jacket and a white undershirt. The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing a tan baseball cap and dark clothing.
Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip through Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at www.crimesolversmcmd.org or call 1-866-411-8477. Anonymous tips may be eligible for a reward ranging from $250 to $10,000.
