The incident was first reported around 9:56 p.m. on March 24, when officers responded to a local hospital and found the man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Preliminary details revealed the shooting occurred in the 3000 block of South Hanover Street, where a call for gunfire was received shortly before the victim arrived at the hospital.

Southern District detectives are handling the investigation and are working to determine the circumstances and identify any suspects.
