NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Saturday, August 5, at approximately 7:45 am, a 30-year-old man was shot in a commercial establishment at 563 East Tremont Avenue.
The New York City Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying the individual responsible.
The victim was approached by an unknown individual who displayed a firearm.
The assailant then shot the victim once in the left leg before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD is actively investigating this incident. Those with relevant information are asked to come forward.
