Man Shot in Legs in North Philadelphia, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA — A man was hospitalized after being shot in the legs Sunday evening in North Philadelphia, according to police.

Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department 25th District responded around 6:24 p.m. to a report of a shooting near North Orkney and West Cambria streets.

Police said the adult man suffered a gunshot wound to his legs. Medics took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Investigators said they were unable to locate a shooting scene. Police have not released information about a possible suspect or what may have led to the shooting.
