BALTIMORE, MD — A man was found shot inside a residence early Thursday morning in the 2200 block of East Federal Street, sparking a police investigation.
Officers responded at approximately 4:40 a.m. after receiving a report of an armed person and discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to an area hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released details on a suspect or motive as detectives work to determine what led to the shooting.
